-So I am excited to move to Vegas. The transition has been really great so far. A few bumps but it’s not that bad. Yesterday, we had corporate visitors come into our store. HISTORY: I work for Adidas-the Original Heritage brand [there are two brands: Original Heritage & Sports Performance] they were there to open the new Sports Performance store in Chicago that is located at the water tower place. I met all kinds of managers, District Manager, Regional, Operations manager for the entire company. All kinds of big wig dudes. My boss even told them that I was moving and they asked me why. I love it when they ask. So I told them about the church and then said that I plan to transfer to the sports performance store out there. The operations manager turn to our D.M. and said to the effect of “make it happen for him”. I was thrilled at how I got the ok from the big guns. See, when things like this fall into place—you know it’s of God because he opens the doors for opportunity.
-The sport performance store did have a special party last night before the grand opening. I went to it of course and I actually bought my first sports performance shoe for a very low cost. I fell in love with it the moment I saw them and the extra helpful Marcus from the store helped me out with it. He was also wearing them!
-No, this blog will not be called “Las Vegas Vice” after my move there. I am a loyal Chicago man, even though I was born in El Paso, Texas. Chicago is were I grew up and was raised. I lived here since late 1988! 20 years in Chicago. I just turned 26 in July—so do the math! ha ha.
-if I could get a tattoo it would be the Chicago flag but I am so fickled about tattoos. oh well, there’s always markers.
ciao!
